Worldwide Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) kill more people than any other cause in the world. The death rate is approximately 1 in 3 from CVD. More than 80% of heart disease occurrences are caused by lifestyle. Roughly half of all deaths from stroke and heart disease are caused by elevated blood pressure.
